About VINLOGUE
VINLOGUE is used in the management of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) alongside a protein-restricted diet. Alpha ketoanalogues supply essential amino acids while minimising nitrogen intake, supporting protein metabolism; combined with a protein-restricted diet, they may help slow the progression of renal insufficiency.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of complications of impaired protein metabolism in Chronic Kidney Disease, in conjunction with a low-protein diet, as advised by a nephrologist.
Dosage & Administration
As directed by the physician.
Key Safety Information
- Monitor serum calcium (contains calcium salts). Contraindicated in hypercalcaemia and disorders of amino acid metabolism; contains phenylalanine (caution in phenylketonuria).
- Use only together with the protein-restricted diet prescribed by the physician.
