About ACEPHOS
ACEPHOS contains calcium acetate, a phosphate binder that combines with dietary phosphate in the gut to reduce its absorption. It is used to control elevated serum phosphate levels in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease, including those on dialysis.
Indications
Control of hyperphosphataemia in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease and end-stage renal disease on dialysis.
Dosage & Administration
As directed by the physician.
Key Safety Information
- Contraindicated in hypercalcaemia. Monitor serum calcium regularly, especially with vitamin D analogues or other calcium-containing products.
- May reduce absorption of some oral drugs (e.g. tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones); separate dosing as advised.

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
